Remembering MLK

MLK Day is a federal holiday in the United States that is observed on the third Monday of January each year. It is a day to honor the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to celebrate his many contributions to the cause of racial equality and social justice. Today, we reflect on the progress that has been made towards achieving King’s dream of a more just and equal society, and to recommit ourselves to the work that remains to be done.
