With their help, I got exactly the kind of house that I wanted, and just not that, the house came with 24-hour surveillance, onsite laundry service, free maintenance, and hardwood flooring. This is going to be my HONEST review of MY EXPERIENCE while living there. I forgot who my realtor was but he was a short man, bald head in the middle, he was very nice! Very calm and mild mannered, you can tell he is a good man. I lived in Zara's Building for 3 years. I will speak on both negative and positives. So in my opinion, the prices are a bit on the high side, it could be lower. Parking is non-existent, unless you stay home all day and can watch like a hawk to move on alternate days. AGAIN, this is my experience and my building location. Now, the super is pretty nice, very responsive and overall I never had an issue with him at all, you need something done, you tell him, and he lets you know when he's coming and he come, pretty simple! The building is clean because they do wax and maintain the floors, but if you do not have clean neighbors, well, then you will understand. You have to remember no mater how clean a building is, if you have untidy neighbors, you will have unwanted visitors. I have to say I kept my place neat and am a neat freak so I did not have much of an issue. It is a building so everyone has to do their part, take out your garbage and don't leave messes. No issues with other tenants, everyone comes in and goes out and minds their business. Honestly, pay your rent and mind your business and you will be fine. I did not have any issues while living there. As for as MANAGEMENT, I dealt with JACINIA SANCHEZ, and wow she was the highlight of my stay there. Unfortunately, we all go through things in life, and this is being an honest review, I would be late on rent sometimes, (I TOLD YOU THIS WAS AN HONEST REVIEW)! When speaking with Jacinia, when I got off the phone with her, I felt so relieved. She always made me feel better no matter what I was going through, She always had a plan and did not judge me on my circumstance at the moment, did not made me feel worse than I did! She showed EMPATHY, SYMPATHY, PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY, and most importantly she CARED! You could feel that she understood what you were going through and she tried to help find a solution, found a game plan so you can catch up. She has a good soul and she is a good human, yes I said good human, because this is what GOD wants us to be in life, to help our fellow bothers and sisters while being non-judgmental, and unbiased while maintaining her professionalism. She is someone I will always remember. Zara Realty is blessed to have someone like her and every else needs to follow suit! I left Zara this year because of personal choice of wanting a new scenery, and parking, nothing forced me out, I figured out a year before and took my time to move! Like I stated before, I did not have issues living there, best tips I can give are to, mind your business, pay your rent on time, and if you are having issues paying your rent, contact them and let them know, they will advise you, and BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING! We have been here for 4 years and we love the apartment building and the management. If have to be honest, Zara is a really, really nice place to live. I can honestly say I don't have a single complaint about living here. It is clean, safe, comfortable, and is at a great location in Queens. It is very close to the train station, they are very well built apartments, having good support - maintenance, front desk, etc. I could go on and on about them. It's a very well run building. The Super is incredibly kind, positive and is always helpful. No matter whatever the issue is, he'll come and fix it right away. And as I said before, the management is incredibly responsive and understanding. The building is near to tons of restaurants, bars and parks. The building is the perfect combination of old world charm with that modern feel. Overall, I can't say anything bad about this place. Just a well-run building that's a great place to live. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ok so let me just say I am not the easiest customer to work with lol but honestly, living here is an amazing experience. I started looking at new apartments buildings since back in 2018. I made an appointment with and when I met with the agent I, of course, had a ton of questions but he was super patient and accommodating. I finally decided on zara, signed the contract and that was that. Kudos to these agents for the exceptional work that they do. They are very flexible and accommodating! Working with them was easy and actually a pleasure. The exceptional customer service they showed a hard to deal with tenant like me, is reflective of their commitment to quality service and I am happy to be living at a building in which management and staff care so much. I feel safe, my apartment is super spacious, filled with light and is modern. The gym is fantastic and I have been more times than I have in month than I have in the past year. We lived here for 2 years. We moved out now but thought I’d stop by and leave a review. I received nothing but compliments from anyone who stepped foot in the apt. During the time that we lived there, we were very pleased with the way things operated and the upkeep in the building. The super maintains the buildings and is almost always on site and available to help out with any problems or issues that may arise. The building is clean and I found that the tenants were quite respectful. The apartments are in great condition with new appliances and have tons of natural lighting and space. My two years at Zara were extremely positive. Can’t lie. If you are looking to rent, I absolutely think that given the beautiful apartments and ideal location, Zara apartments are a great value for your money.

This is my quick story: I moved to New York from a very small town last year. When I was moving, I looked at several places to rent. So far, Zara has exceeded all of my expectations in every aspect. From the office staff, maintenance, and management this place really is the best of the best. They have activities here including tenant appreciation events, I Was told, but it’s on pause because of all that’s going on. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and the neighborhood is vibrant sand safe. I do occasional work from home and found that my apartment is quiet and peaceful and no noise comes in so it’s just perfect for me. Honestly though, the most important thing to me has been seeing the quality of people they rent to. It’s all very friendly and warm people and from a diverse background. Can really appreciate it especially during these times of so much hatred and division. The maintenance guys are the best at what they do. A few months back, I had finally settled into a place and then something unexpected happened - I accepted a new position out of state. Had to find a new home. This is how I ended up at Zara. The people who helped me have represented themselves well and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. My stay so far here has been really enjoyable and stress-free. The office staff were the nicest and were very very helpful in my time of need. Always with a smile and willing to help. I ever got into conversation about the nicest restaurants and best food and grocery stores around and that has helped me a lot in term of selecting my food around here. It’s these little tips and tricks that make all the difference. Even the maintenance guys are very polite and their smiles are contagious and when they say hello to you, it can really make your day. In terms of maintenance, they are on point and are quick with their response. Thank you. Now that is what I call service. These guys are the backbone of this place and they are good. They are always running around to ensure something is taken care of. And as I said before if they notice you across across the street, they don’t ignore you, they go out of their way to greet you. With a hectic schedule, they still find the way and time to make you feel comfortable. I don’t see anyone mentioning them and so I just had to because I think they deserve it. I was only planning on being here for about a year or so until I found a house but the place is so nice that I decided to renew my lease after it was up. ⁃ Everything here looks fresh and clean and smells fresh and clean. ⁃ The floor plan of my unit is just perfect for me. ⁃ The location is awesome because it is close to everything I need access to, like grocery stores etc. ⁃ It is extremely quiet and clean here ⁃ What’s really exceptional about this place though is the staff. They are always pleasant and helpful and very patient with us. ⁃ The maintenance is always shows up in a short time and they always fix the problem in the most professional way possible. Kudos for that. ⁃ If you are looking for somewhere to live, I highly recommend Zara. **UPDATE**  I am sad to say that I am planning to leave but only because of home ownership. But I reiterate my review that this place has been nothing but good to us. This has been a wonderful apartment and community and I am truly sad to go. The building has been superbly maintained with attention to details throughout the years I have been here now and yes the maintenance guys remained efficient and professional. The super is a man of integrity and has remained that way for the entire of my stay. Every single per from the actual landlords to the maintenance guys have always been super friendly and helpful, and it quickly becomes clear that they really care about their building and tenants. I've lived at Zara for about 13 months now and could not have imagined a better NY experience. The staff here truly care and they do an amazing job. By far, the most attentive staff of any apartment I've lived in. The building as a whole feels safe. From the office staff, to the leasing agents and the maintenance team, everyone seems happy to be here and is very helpful and friendly. And that type of attitude can have a contagious effect and honestly I think it has, because all the residents are pleasant people. Compare that to my last apartment where every other person was miserable and angry. They always follow up and have a way of making you feel right at home. The maintenance guys operate very efficiently and you can tell that they love their jobs which can make all the difference in the service you get. I have made wonderful friends with people who live here and i can say that the quality of residents here is top notch. The staff is extremely friendly and proactive and the building truly is a community. 5 stars!

We have been here for nearly a year now, and the experience has been great. If anything goes wrong in the apartment, you can count on a response and action from their management. Lobby and hallways are always clean, and the residents are friendly. Great work by the management staff in training their staff as everyone is very professional and inviting. One of the most important aspects for me is that the apartments are very sound proof. Being a very light sleeper, and other than the occasional noise from outside (which should be expected in a city environment), you cannot hear other residents, tv or music from other apartments. This is a big deal for me so I’m very grateful for that. MY last apartment wasn’t so good with this so yeah I’m very happy that I’m relatively sound proof here. Restaurants and bars everywhere. Vending machines in the building, and a convenience store across the street. There is convenient parking as well so definitely a plus. With so much going on in the neighborhood, I never get bored here. There are three grocery stores literally within one block, and the subway is just down the street. But I think i like most about here is the nearby park. It is the perfect distance for a long lazy weekend walk and once there it is perfect serenity. All in all, I recommend 100%

I love love love living at Zara. Let me tell you why. First the location is awesome! The neighborhood is clean, safe, quiet for a city, lively, healthy, lots of great food and entertainment options. My one-bedroom unit: I'm on the 4th floor facing east. The place is spacious and beautiful. We can comfortably fit a queen bed, dresser, 2 night stands and book shelf in our bedroom. That's a lot of stuff now that I type it out. I have a nice closet that fits more than enough of my stuff. The bathroom is GREAT! The rest of the apartment is beautiful as well. Our living room fits a small TV stand with a large flat screen TV, 2 book shelves, and a coffee table. The kitchen is very nice too, with all stainless steel appliances. There is a lovely little balcony that we use in the summer. There isn't a view like you would have in Manhattan obviously but it's awesome to read or dine outside when the weather is nice.

94-25 57th ave I personally haven't had any major issues in the building besides not being able to get security camera footage when my package was stolen. Other than that every time I call the super, I get an answer right away same as the office, Daniel De Castro always answers my questions and help me find solutions to my problems very quick.

Because of relocation due to my job being moved, we were looking for potential apartment buildings. I noticed Zara had many options in various areas of Queens in NYC. I consider myself lucky to have come across them on google. I viewed their picture and one thing led to another and before you know it I was getting with an agent. I called the office, spoke to someone, and they walked me though everything on the phone. They followed up to confirm my appointment and was frankly very meticulous and thorough with providing information about the property prior to my appointment. They had really cool virtual tours so I opted for that first. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. After careful consideration and deliberation, we diced to go through with it. After being approved, they followed up via phone to discuss next steps. Before you know it, we were ready to move. Just like that. So I must say, the whole process was seamless! They made themselves available to answer any questions I had. They were also extremely quick to respond. All this to say I am now a resident here and I don’t regret it one bit.

Let me begin by saying that Zara is an awesome place to live.. We have lived in the building since late June 2013 and just renewed a few months ago. Love it. Love it. Love it. The building has everything we need, most importantly, convenience! We both walk to work from the building, and the employees are all so nice and friendly. Maintenance staff is also great, always friendly and completing requests within a day. The leasing people are also very friendly and helpful. Before i moved here, i was very nervous about finding the right place for us - especially coming from out of town and not knowing what neighborhood we would like. This was the final building we looked at and we really liked it. I loved the model apartment layout that we saw as well. The renting process was pretty easy. It ended up being the perfect place for us. We have a one bedroom with a great view. They also have a parking garage available for residents with cars. This is very convenient and there are always spots available. Our location is also very close to lots of restaurants etc, and within walking distance of the subway. Overall, this is a great place to live and would recommend to anyone looking for convenience. I won't hesitate to recommend them to others. Also one of the best parking garages I've ever parked at. I love living in this building…It is close to work, and close to restaurants and bars..and like i mentioned before, the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. They are professional in every way and know the market to perfection. I am very particular when it comes to apartments, and have moved three times in three years because I can never find a place that fits my needs. Zara feels like it may finally have hit all of the requirements! The people here are incredible and actually care for you as a resident. They are extremely effective. We moved out of state and came here and our expectations were just blown away. Got the best apartments with them. I can proudly say this is my home now. I have usually moved out of an apartment complex after each year with disappointment but Zara is the first apartment lease I have happily renewed. The amenities are good, pricing is comparable to other apartments in the area, but most importantly, the staff is great. We found the apartment through their social media page. In many other places I have lived in, once the lease is signed it takes forever to get a response but I must say that I have received the same first class service as a resident as I did when I was a prospect. The building is constantly being cleaned (puts my mind at ease especially during these times) and it is well maintained. The hallways were recently renovated. I would have to say the people who are most overlooked would be the maintenance team. Whenever we have an issue, and we rarely do, but every once in a blue moon, things happen, they are always on it in a very timely manner. They are also incredibly friendly and always say hello when we are passing in the building. I would have to say the greatest thing about living here is the fantastic staff. Thank you once again.

We first saw pictures online through their virtual tours that they’ve been doing. Saw they’ve been pushing out a lot of Covid 19 content on their social media and that’s what first caught my attention about them. Eventually one thing led to another and I now I am living here. Got tell ya - it is actually cheaper than other options in the area. Plus all the apartments I’ve seen have nice layouts. In most large buildings like this, the management teams are usually bad because they simply can't meet the needs of everyone. Service requests rarely get taken care of, building upgrades never happen and staff is never available to help. And this is kind of what I expected moving in here, not as bad as that but something like that. But the management team here is actually the complete opposite. We've made maybe 1 service request in the 4 months we've been here and the issue was resolved promptly. I see on their social media that they throw building parties with good food and music, bring in local businesses to share their products with residents and actually work on building improvements pretty often. The management team is easy to find and genuinely friendly. Overall this is a great place. Recommend fully.

Good apartment with location in the heart of New York City. Very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and very responsive, along with the maintenance staff, who fixes even minor things very promptly. The building is kept in great condition and is well taken care of, which is quite nice to come home to. I live in a studio and the layout is pretty spacious. I love how quiet the building generally is and I very rarely hear my neighbors. Management also regularly organizes social events for residents, which is a very nice perk and a great way to meet the neighbors. Not so much now because of all the social distancing rules but used to be a regular occurrence. Thank you to the Zara team as you made all of it possible.

Hands down the best company you can work with when you’re looking to find an affordable and comfortable apartment to live in. I toured many of their apartments before finding the perfect one in the Jamaica area. I was surprised actually to find such a beautiful apartment in the Jamaica area and at such a great price! Zaras apartments really reflect the luxury that their company name has in it. Everything looked so brand new in the apartment and it was very spacious. The move in process was straight forward, smooth and professional. Everything is walking distance to my building, from parks to grocery stores, restaurants, and apparel stores. The trains are near by (E, F, LIRR) and there are many buses, which makes it very convenient to live in the area. I’ve been living with Zara for a few months now and I can also say the office staff have been very understanding and helpful by working with me during the COVID-19 pandemic. They even gave us free masks! What more could you ask for? Rent here!

I have been looking for an apartment for MONTHS now and then I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a company, Zara. The apartment I rented was newly renovated and it had brand new stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer in the apartment. The detailing of the work in the bathroom, and the mahogany kitchen cabinets and the shining glossy hardwood floors were certainly eye catching for me! I also loved that the building has a gym and it has a laundry room and there is a parking you can rent as well. When I heard the price of the apartment I was even more shocked! Such a beautiful apartment for such an affordable price, and with all these amenities? I knew I had to have it! Within the same week, I ended up renting the apartment and now one year later, my apartment is still looking as new as I got it when I first moved in. I’ve never had any issues with my apartment and any small repairs I needed done, I would schedule it directly with the superintendent or the office and they would ensure my repairs were completed within a timely manner. Zara’s employees are really professional and one thing I can say with certainty is that they care about their tenants and they are always glad to help. Please, if you are looking for an apartment, you definitely found the right place to call home here at Zara.

I recently moved in to one of Zara’s 2 bedroom apartments with my two children and we have been having nothing but pleasant times in our new home. All my neighbors are very friendly and were welcoming to us when we moved in and the superintendent has always been extremely kind and helpful. What I enjoy the most is the cleanliness of the building. The building is regularly cleaned and disinfected. As soon as you enter into the building, you can smell how clean the building is and you see the superintendent and his helpers constantly disinfecting the entire building and its common areas. I think this is great, especially due to these uncertain times of COVID-19. As a single mother with two young children, I feel very safe in this building and ever since I’ve moved in I have never had any issues. Everyone at the office is very friendly and always address any questions I may have, and they do so in a prompt manner. I plan to reside in Zara’s apartments for many years and I know my children will enjoy growing up in such a safe and secure environment. Keep up the good work Zara!! I live in a beautiful apartment with comfortable rooms that are well heated and lets in lots of natural light. This is an amazing place to live and it is within walking distance of tons of great stuff. My apartment is equally amazing and absolutely fantastic. Beautiful floors, very nice appliances including a gas stove, and great views from any direction. I never once heard any noise from neighboring units and that to me is a big deal. I just honestly love living here. And actually I just just signed another 24 month lease. We have been living in a spacious one bedroom facing south. The view is breath taking through any window you look especially when you’re this high up like we are! All the amenities here are top notch and I love the fact that there are so many great restaurants in the area. Plus there is plenty to do all within walking distance. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you know you are in a special place. Plus they really keep the building spotless and shiny. Highly highly recommend!

Excellent value for money. The apartment location is in a quiet area and it is easy getting to the city by subway. I’ve lived at this apartment for nine months now. This is a great place to live. My unit was upgraded recently with new hardwood flooring. The living areas are very spacious with high ceilings plus the area is very open and does not feel like a normal small apartment. That’s very good for me cuz I don’t like feeling cramped. The building is kept in great shape. Excellent condition because they have their guys cleaning the building 24/7. Especially now cuz of corona. They’ve been doing heavy duty cleaning. I still wear gloves and mask out of precaution but it helps to know that they are taking this seriously as well. They also gave me three free masks. Thanks for that.

I always feel at ease with them as they always guide us in the right direction. This is actually the first real solid review I've ever written. Yeah I've written a few in the past but not like this. This is from the hearts and to be honest, the reason I’m writing it is mostly because of the staff here and their amazing work ethic and personalities. I have had very few issues with our apartments and that’s worth saying because it is very rare in the apartment rental issue. But basically every time I had an issue, it was fixed very quickly and professionally. I am so thankful that I found these people. They are always easy to deal with and also patient and honest. And they handed out masks to every single tenant. How cool is that? Sorry but I don't see any other landlords doing this. Before the pandemic, they used to hold parties for us. Again no other landlords are doing these things. Im not sucking up to them but I do give credit where it’s due. I do have my minor issues with them sometimes but it’s always amicably resolved and always to my satisfaction. The maintenance guys are too great, but it’s not just the maintenance guys who are awesome at Zara. The whole entire team is very friendly and incredibly efficient at what they do. As far as reviews go I do not usually give a review based on a single experience with a company or individual. I also do not give a review immediately following an incident because the prevailing emotions at the time can influence the review negatively or positively. That would be a reaction and not a review. However, I am inclined to offer my review of Zara’s administration office as experienced through their representatives. Two individuals come to mind, Christina and Daniel, though one briefly and the other protracted. I have dealt with both recently. Christina was my initial point of contact and she was very cordial and professional. She was efficient and after taking all my details and reason for my call said someone will get back to me and someone did, Daniel. It was not my first time speaking with Daniel. I had occasion to speak with him intermittently over the past year. He is professional and knowledgeable of his process. Zara is in the real estate/rental business so naturally any conversation is invariably that of a landlord/tenant relationship. The expectation of a resolution in such a relationship is as acrimonious as a that of a taxpayer and the IRS. But in my case Daniel proved me wrong. Daniel handled my case with the sensitivity of a seasoned professional, responded within the promised time frame and the immediate result of the conversation was seen the day after. I must say that I was impressed. It was not a one-time occurrence either, for when I had reason to call again for a different issue the result was the same. Poignant, professional and punctual. Under stress or faced with cause of uncertainty Daniel is a voice you want to hear. Pleasant, grounded, thoughtful and confident. In my recent interaction with Daniel I was pleasantly surprised when the result of my inquiry resulted in an amicable resolution with a better than expected outcome. Though if the result was otherwise I would not be willing to say it was a fault of his. For this reason I was motivated to write this review. I wish this young man continued success in his endeavors wherever they may take him.

It is always a pleasure working with them. When I first found this place, I knew it was exactly the type of apartment I've been searching for. The location is perfect. And the look of the building is fantastic. Staff is very sweet and they are very patient and kind from the very beginning. They always answer all our questions without hesitation. The building is very well maintained and the area is pretty safe. I never feel unsafe walking around at nights, which is something I couldn’t have said for my previous neighborhood. When we first started here, They compiled a list of all beautiful apartments based on our specific requirements. We visited each one of them and selected the one that fitted our budget. All the apartments were so beautiful, well maintained and organized.We were ecstatic to have such an incredible apartment secured. So yeah now we rent here. To put it in a nutshell, they are always fair, attentive to our maintenance requests, and very courteous. We recommend them. Our rent is beyond fair and competitive for the area. We actually had a few normal maintenance requests during our stay there and the response was always really really prompt. A co worker of mine recommended Zara realty as he knew I was on the hunt for an apartment and my oh my I’m glad I gave them a try. One of the main things I needed was to be close to public transportation. My apartment is conveniently located to all public transportation such as trains and buses. Being a single mother I needed security also and they delivered on that too. I love the double doors in my building and the fact that my apartment keys cannot be duplicated. Even though I’ve only been living here a few months I love it. There are alot of cameras and friendly faces. I was blown away that my building also had an easily accessible laundry room and trash shoot. It is really important to me that the apartment that i live in is nice and comfortable and to my liking because I spend allot of time at home since I tele-commute. With that in mind, about 6 months ago, I decided to look for an apartment. I came across zara online and gave them a call. A tour was set up quickly and I was impressed by what I saw. I had a million questions which I think is pretty normal for such a big move. They answered everything to my satisfaction and so I made the move and signed the lease. Like I said, it’s been six months so I thought I’d come on here and leave a review. This is great place to live. The neighborhood is amazing and the office staff is extremely helpful to us. They bend over backward to get you the help that you need. Thats what I like about them the most. They also try to accommodate your suggestions and resolve your issues as quickly as they possible can. Definitely recommend!

The building is awesome and is truly luxurious. Its very clean and well kept and offers great views of the area with open floor plans and stainless steel appliances. I moved from another luxury place and I was worried that zara wouldn’t be able to keep up or compare with my previous building but to my surprise, they beat my previous landlord in every category you can think of, plus the rent is cheaper. Really can't beat that. Once you take a tour, you’ll understand why they say these apartments sell themselves. The amenities are absolute stunning, the unit is gorgeous and all the people who work here are incredible. I have never felt more welcome!! This place is absolutely a one of a kind incredible find. We must have decided on our apartment only about 3 hours after given a tour. Love the high ceilings and huge windows. I’m still amazed as though it’s the first time I’m looking at it. Usually, it takes me a really long time to settle in to a new spot but it took me less than a month to feel very very comfortable here, which speaks volumes about the kind of place this is. If you qualify to live here, hurry up and go for it. Will be worth your time and effort.

I have been living here for a while now and we just signed and renewed our lease and we never want to leave. When we first moved in, we requested a few minor things be done. I can report that the guys who came did everything to our satisfaction within just a few hours. This building is is all we ever wanted and more. We always wanted to live in a quiet, serene area that would keep out the noise from traffic or neighbors etc. That has been made a reality for us by moving in here. Thanks guys. I have to give credit where it’s due.. and credit is due to the maintenance guys. Amazing amazing service that definitely sets them apart from other apartment buildings. These guys are extremely polite and professional and they do really really good work. They even explained the work they were doing as they were doing it. Really incredible service! The management and maintenance team take a lot of pride in this building. You can quickly tell especially when you wake up early in the morning and realize those guys are already up taking care of their duties. Really admire their work ethic. Recommend them 500%. After years of living at buildings with horrible landlords it was a breath of fresh air to work with the team at Zara. Right from the beginning of my apartment search until the end of my lease, they were outstanding. Always Always Always prompt with their responses and try their utmost best to resolve issues as quickly as possible. The building is beautiful. The lobby is amazing. And their decoration last Christmas was just perfect..These people are great at what they do and you can tell from the way the building looks and is maintained. I have been renting here for awhile. The neighborhood is good , the building is newly renovated. The apartment is huge nice views. The rent is fairly priced and everyone is so friendly. Convenient location. Their apartments are extremely beautiful. The rooms are big with a beautiful outside view. We recently moved to the property with our whole family including my mom and dad. The place is suitable for elderly persons and children as well plus it is nearby my office location. Zara came into my life at the right time. After I signed my lease I felt at ease. I m happy with what I saw and I am comfortable knowing I m in good hands. I had moved from another state and so this wasn’t easy for me. I wasn't sure how easy or difficult it would be to get an apartment here. But honestly the whole application and lease signing process took way less time than I thought it would. I’m genuinely impressed. The agents who helped me were really nice and seemed extremely knowledgeable and seemed to know the process like the back of their hand. That put me at ease. My main thing was space and yeah my apartment is super spacious with brand spanking new stainless steel appliances so I’m ecstatic about that.

Everyone who works here is really nice and friendly. So right off the bat, thumbs up for that. Maintenance crew works fast and they’re VERY VERY respectful. Thumbs up there also. I LOVEE my apartment. Big and spacious. Like lots and lots of room. Well it’s just me who live here so that helps also. Love the new appliances in the kitchen too. They come in handy when I’m experimenting in the kitchen with cooking :) Last summer, they held resident parties where they handed out free food and drinks and had music and face painting and the whole works. They also held a Halloween event and Christmas parties. I went to all of them. Was awesome. Loads of fun. The people who live here, Im happy to say are nice decent family people. They’re kind and respectful and I have no problems with any of them. Would def. give this place a shot if you’re looking for an apartment.

stumbled on it through a quick google search for apartments in my area…Everyone was so welcoming when I came for a tour…and from the beginning, I was sold after looking at a few apartments. I filled out the application right away. And soon after that I moved in. Once I moved in, I was a happy man. The location of Zara is also really good because there are so many cool restaurants nearby and there are grocery stores right around the bend. I have walked around the neighborhood too and I have to say that it feels really safe and friendly. The building is truly amazing and very well kept. I really really love living here. The neighborhood is perfect and what an amazingly beautiful building this is. The building is so well maintain that things rarely get broken and the few times we have had to contact maintenance, they were on it immediately. It’s surreal the way they take care of business. Our company does insulation work for Zara and I have to say I am quite impressed with the level of service and professionalism that we’ve received over the years from these guys. It’s uncommon to find good, decent people these days, especially in the world of business. But companies like Zara give me hope that there are still authentic, honest people out there. I have been communicating personally with Rishaad over the past few weeks, and he always goes above and beyond in his efforts to find me some sort of resolution to my issues. In cases where he is unable to help, he directs me to the appropriate people who can help and that means a lot to me. We’ve done some maintenance work at their Flushing and Elmhurst locations and we can vouch for the excellent condition of the buildings. I personally know at least 2 of the tenants and I’ve personally asked them their opinion about zara and they always say “no complaints.” No complaints in the apartment rental business is a huge win for Zara. While I’m not going to embellish their words, I’m not going to downplay them either. “No complaints” says a lot to me about the character of this business. This, coupled with my personal experience with the staff, leaves me in a solid position to recommend zara both as a company to rent from and a company with which to do business. They are trustworthy and no-nonsense kind of people and that’s a positive in my eyes.

As such, we’re in a unique position to judge their character and integrity as a company. We can proudly say that Zara has been absolutely phenomenal in their business relationship with us over the years. Our intention was to find a building that was centrally located with beautiful spacious apartments. That’s exactly what we found at Zara! The building, if you’ve never seen it, is really beautiful and took our breath away when we first laid eyes on it. It is really well taken care of. They must probably get up so early in the morning as I leave for work pretty early and they’re always already up cleaning and doing what they have to do to keep the building in great condition. They always look my way and greet me too. I feel like I’m in good hands and whenever I need help the building reps are easily accessible and friendly to deal with. This place is a slam dunk once you compare it to all the other apartment complexes around here. The reason is simple: The office staff is like family. They are truly responsible for me feeling the way I feel. I feel like this is my forever home and they look and sound like they will do anything possible to ensure I am happy and comfortable. I really appreciate that. The entire building is just an architectural marvel to look at. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the construction of this building. For the price you pay here, you will not find a better apartment in this area. Moving to Zara was the best decision I ever made as I truly enjoy living here.

I have read countless reviews about other apartment buildings when I was looking for an apartment and most of the negative reviews centered around bad neighbors. I’m happy to say I have yet to encounter any bad people who live in this building. If they exist, I am yet to meet them or hear of them. I have met zero obnoxious people and have not had to put up with noise or anything of that sort which I hear is a blessing in apartment buildings generally speaking. My apartment itself is really well constructed and beautiful. All of the finishes everywhere is gorgeous especially in the living room and kitchen and the shower is fantastic. Everything is brand new when you move in. What more can you ask for? I’ll tell you this right now, if you’ve made up your mind about moving here, you better hurry because I see more and more people moving in every day. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Any request for repairs, no matter how small, is handled promptly. I’ve had about 2 issues with repairs so far, which in my experience is really really good. The community here stays connected and there are many events throughout the year that they hold that I take my kids to and they love it. The building is located in a great neighborhood with hundreds of things to do, grocery stores and restaurants that make living here such a nice experience. The view from our window in our apartment is also really nice. It’s also quite something to see the building being taken care of by the maintenance people on a daily basis. They really do a great job in keeping this place spotless. I highly recommend living here.

One day on my way home I passed by one of Zara’s building with a open house sign. I took the number and gave them a call the next day to set up a tour. It was one of the best rental decisions me and my husband made. After viewing the apartment did the paperwork and was approved the same day! This was a great start for us because we are both working people with little time to spare. Our move in process was smooth and we enjoy living here. Our super is great with repairs and works around our schedule. With our family extending it’s no surprise that we decided to get a two bedroom apartment with them. fter checking out almost every apartment building in Queens, I came to the conclusion that I had to live at Zara and I do not regret it one bit. Few of the things that stood out to me was how nice all the buildings looked and how clean the lobbies are, but most of all was how nice the staff is. I had a few issues while moving in, but they were resolved in no time. Plus the maintenance crew is on point with everything. The office staff take their time on the phone with us and answer all our questions to our satisfaction. No complaints there. The building itself has been absolutely phenomenal so far. Being next to the subway makes it so convenient for us and we are very grateful for that fact. Commuting is a breeze for us now whereas before it was a hassle. We’ve had our ups and downs over the years but in the end they always treated us fairly and have gone above and beyond on a few occasions to help us out. I personally work with Rishaad on a one to one basis and he has always been super helpful to us when we need help with anything check-related. They always treat us professionally and Rishaad is always very courteous on the phone or in emails to us. Today we disputed that few invoices were unpaid and he calmly and patiently explained that they were in fact paid and it turns out he was right. I can safely vouch for the quality of service from them. They are like family to me now. When I first move in, this whole rental process and apartment building living experience was new to me. But now I can’t even think of living anywhere else and what that would be like. This place is my home and I love it here. My apartment is very nice and I didn’t have to do much decorating to make it look nice. It was nice from the beginning. The neighborhood is thriving. It wasn’t always this way. But now everyone is living here and the place is a cultural hub that everyone wants to be a part of. I say move now while the rents are still relatively affordable in this area. We have been residing here in this building for 4 years now and we plan to continue living here for the foreseeable future. We abolsutely love the place and the staff for many many reasons. First off, the location is perfect. It is within walking distance of nearly everything…many popular restaurants and stores, many offices, including my own, hardware store, drug store, clothing stores, grocery stores, anything you can possible want is literally a block away. Love that about this neighborhood and other neighborhoods like this. Like i said, basically everything you need is right around the block - not the slightest exaggeration. The subway is also a block away. How can you beat that? You can’t! The management is also great. The sound proofing of the apartments is extremely good. We can't hear anything from our neighbors. How is that even possible? I don’t know but it is if you live here. That’s a good thing because noise nuisance can be a serious problem at apartment buildings. I know this from past experience. I honestly used to think that noise complaints, hearing your neighbors play bad music at odd hours and other noise related problems like those were inevitable annoyances of living in an apartment building, but Zara has shown me otherwise. Definitely something that people take for granted.

I have lived here for about seven years now and have had a great experience. What can i say? I am blessed. I moved into Zara after never seeing the apartment or even Queens NYC. I moved from Pennsylvania. I cannot begin to tell you enough how blessed I am to have sort of randomly chosen this place! I thought it might be too pricey, but after looking at surrounding apartments, this definitely is the nicest and has the greatest value for your money! The people I meet tell me they pay the same for their small apartment but don't have the space and quality of service that i get - beautiful floors, amazing staff and so on. The location is really good. Far enough to be quiet and pretty and charming, close enough to walk easily to al the good restaurants. I walk to the subway everyday to get to work. Nice grocery stores close by and several to choose from and the people in the neighborhood and in the building are really friendly people. All in all, I would highly recommend living here!

The best thing about them is that they really know the industry inside and out because they’ve been doing this for years. I'm not renting with them currently but I was a tenant up until last year, when I became a home owner. Incidentally, it’s probably due to the value that i got for my money from renting there that led to my home ownership but that’s another story for another time. My apartment was so spacious that i remember signing up so quickly after i had a tour because i knew if i didn’t seize the opportunity, i’d lose the deal to someone else. Honestly the biggest I've seen in all my years of renting, and boy did we rent a lot at the time. But yeah, we quickly sealed the deal and were happy tenants from there on. Disclaimer: I also do business with these guys and I personally liaise with Rishaad on a regular basis and he is nothing short of professional in all his business dealing with me. Hi guys! i lived here for 5 years. I moved but the only reason I moved is because I transferred to my job’s Florida location. But i have to give them 5 stars because my experience there was one of the best experiences living at an apartment building i have ever had. For the first week or two I moved here, I had the feeling like I was the only person in the building. I never heard a sound from a single neighbor no exaggeration, and occasionally would hear a loud laughs from my other neighbor but i barely heard that.. That's it. You could hear hallway noise somewhat easily from the kitchen/living room, but hardly ever, plus that was hardly ever an issue since the hallway didn't get a ton of foot traffic, truth be told. One other thing is that they were very quick with their replies to maintenance requests. The guys were always in uniform and smartly dressed. they always were 100% professional. The value you get for your money here is exceptional. I paid a reasonable amount of money for a top floor, recently renovated apartment. Much better value, in my opinion, than any of those newly built apartments in Queens. Trust me. I priced quite a few other places before i moved to Zara. The management here actually care. Besides promptly taking care of maintenance issues, they don't give you the run around. I recommend them without hesitation!

Really love it here. The building is beautiful and well situated. Where it’s located is good because everything is so close. Where i lived before you kinda needed a car to move around and get the things you need in life but not here. Everything is walking distance. And that’s just awesome to me. Easily accessible from any subway or bus. So many beautiful local grocery stores and restaurants. The supermarkets here probably have the best and freshest produce selection in all of NYC. My apartment itself is really affordable and spacious. The floors are beautiful. Before I moved in it was redone with modern kitchen appliances installed etc. Sadly, I am leaving Zara after being here just over 4 years but boy I am so impressed that i had to leave this review. My time here has been nothing short of fantastic. The apartments are nice and rodent free, the people are all professionals. I mean the people who live here. Yes the management are all professional you’d expect that but the people who live here are quality really top notch friendly people. What else? Let me see….the appliances are brand new and shiny stainless steel and work really well. Like I said already, the floors are all polished and look amazing. The building is beautiful with the hallways and lobby and the outside of the building well taken care of daily. The staff is also very helpful and I will miss them dearly. We have actually been living at Zara for almost ten years and honestly there is perhaps no one better, no better ambassador to represent the building than me! I lived in 2 separate units over the course of my time there - 1 one-bedroom unit with roommates, and 1 one-bedroom unit on my own. one of the things that I liked when i lived there was because of its age, the apartment was VERY sturdily constructed - you never heard your neighbors. I ended up moving out into a brand new condo that I bought, where I could hear literally everything my upstairs neighbors did. A rude awakening after 10 years at Zara! So yeah, all this to say that I took that for granted when i was living at Zara but now that i live elsewhere i really appreciate the value of the peace and quiet and privacy that i had when i was living here. 5 stars all the way!

We did our due diligence and by the next week we were touring apartments. We quickly settled on one of the apartments that caught out eye and transitioned into it within the next week. Our apartment is very quiet and cozy. The leasing folks, upper managements, the office employees, and even then maintenance guys are always very friendly, professional, and patient with us. You are not going to get a better apartment complex in Queens for the price. I will tell you that right now. Beautiful lobby with impeccable hallways and nicely lit outside and nice garden in front. Love it. The neighborhood is incredibly vibrant. I was more than nervous about moving to Queens alone and i was scared over security but after seeing how brightly lit this place is and hearing all the positive reviews i feel safe. It means a lot to know that I have never, ever, felt uncomfortable inside the building or in the surrounding neighborhood. Cant really complain. I am really happy here at zara. I think the best things about living here are the people who live here the people who manage it and the customer service. Office staff are really down to earth and kind people. Love them for that. Front desk is delightful and always has a smile on their faces. Service requests are promptly responded to and the super is a simple man with a big heart. Really cool people.The building super is the best super I've ever had in my rental history. He is very patient, unbelievably kind, and makes everything a breeze when you need his help. I’m not sure if it is but if it’s the same management that runs all their buildings in queens, then I recommend all the other buildings too as I heard from friends that apartments there are also really nice and spacious.You will not get the value you get at zara or the price anywhere else. Mark my word. Do your own research obviously but you’ll see what I’m talking bout.Zara is surrounded by the best restaurants and bars in Queens because of where this building is located. Great places surround us including a pharmacy, library, nice restaurants and bars etc…Transportation is easy with the bus stop right outside the apartment which can take you all over the place. The subway is also close by, no more than a 5 minute walk away. These are very convenient things that when you take it all into consideration, makes living here even all the better. The apartment itself is beautiful with beautiful hardwood polished floors and nice closets. Plenty of space for a reasonable price, especially for this location. It’s as perfect as it gets and you don’t feel like you’ve made a bad decision living here. We’ve had a few minor maintenance issues over the 3 year span but overall, we are very happy here. 100% recommend.

My apartment is on the 4th floor and it is incredibly spacious with high ceilings, lots of windows, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a very spacious kitchen with new appliances. It's a great deal for this area which has become a cultural hub. I dont see anybody mentioning the park so I will! Call me old fashioned but I still love a good old walk in the park. Parks are literally right next door, and they are extremely beautiful. There are lots of joggers, soccer players, picnickers, and all kinds of great people enjoying the park and the pretty fountains during the day in the summer. And you just can't beat the location. Zara is close to all the good restaurants and grocery stores etc. Everything is a short 5 to 10 minute walk away. The office staff is always very clear and upfront about the fees, and they all make sense. Never had a problem with heating. If I ever had any maintenance problems, one quick call is made in the morning, and before you know it everything is fixed. I've lived in several apartment buildings in the Queens area, and nothing's better than Zara. It doesn't claim to be absolutely perfect, but it’s better than everything else I know. Highly highly recommend!!

MY place is so nice and huge and it has lots of windows unlike my last apartment. Lots of windows mean lots of light and I love lots of light, especially when I’m taking my selfies. It makes the pictures look professional. They communicate very clearly and professionally and are always there to help you when you need it the most at least that has been my experience thus far. They’re nothing short of amazing in my eyes and I have a lot of gratitude for all that they’ve done for me. They just went above and beyond to make sure the process was as smooth as possible and it honestly was.

I've been living here for almost a year now. The super Mahendra is the nicest person. He always responds as quickly as he can to any concerns we have. Can't complain about my apartment. Everything works as it should. Heat is sufficient. AC works like magic. I know that doesn't sound like much but if you've had bad landlords like I had in the past, you'll understand why that's a big deal. The location couldn't be better. I'm literally one minute away from the subway. And this place buzzes with life. Restaurants, supermarkets. There's a beautiful park behind our building. Now let's talk about safety. The front of the building is lit so brightly that it is visible from blocks away. Doors are super Heavy and reinforced. There's not a single time I've felt unsafe in this place. In all my years of living in NYC, I've never had my landlord hold a tenant appreciation day. First when I saw the sign in our lobby that said they'll be holding a party for us, I was a bit skeptical. The Super kept telling us to make sure we come out and celebrate every time he saw us. On the day of the event, I wasn't gonna go. But then the music started and I saw that the place was packed and I saw people I knew from my building with their kids. I took my kids and it was fun. I didn't feel pressured. I signed up for the raffle. The prizes were nice too. A toaster, a pot set, a vacuum cleaner and something else. Can't remember. I didn't win. But it was exciting. My neighbor won the pot set. I was happy for her. The food was amazing. There were guys doing fresh bbq, hot dogs etc. And they were also handing out free snacks and drinks for the kids. I didn't win the raffle but I walked away with free laundry bags, two coffee cups and a coloring book the kids. Next year I'll be coming out for sure again.

Been a tenant for over 15 years. I read the few bad reviews here and I wonder what these people are talking about. Zara has shown my family and I nothing but the utmost respect ever since we got this apartment. So many of the tenants in my building say the greatest things about Zara but I don’t see them leaving reviews on here. Some tenants come here to this page only to vent because f the one issues they’re having and then they blow it out of proportion. They’re here to complain about the one bad day they had and forget about the million other fabulous days Zara has afforded them. I’m not one of those tenants. Yes you will hear from me when I have complaints. But I will do it the right way. Some tenants are mad because Zara operates by the book. They are principled and require you to follow the rules. This is what some tenants are complaining about, but this is what I love about them. It’s a symbiotic relationship whereby we hold each other accountable for our actions. My kids love it here. I don’t plan on moving from here in the foreseeable future. My apartment is exactly the way I want it. I wish more people would come on here not just when they want to complain but also to say all the great things Zara has done for them.

The experience at Zara has been nothing short of amazing. Glossy wooden floors. Impeccable stainless steel appliances. Humungous rooms. We have ZERO regrets about renting here. Our Super is a really nice guy. He responds to our concerns as quickly as he can. On certain occasions, I wish he would be quicker but I know that’s just us being a little unreasonable. I speak to friends who rent at other places and they say our Super’s response time is really fast so I’m not gonna complain about that. We’re up on the 11th floor and the view of Queens from up there is craaaaazzzzzzyyyyy. It’s Queens like you’ve never seen it before. I have to be one of the very first people to live here once Zara took over this building and I have to say the experience since then has been nothing short of perfect. I have lived at other “luxury” apartments before and this is by far the best, most phenomenal, in terms of being well kept and having beautiful appliances and beautiful floors and large spacious living spaces. Even the hallways and other communal areas like the lobby is always spotlessly clean. Someone is always mopping the floors or cleaning the hallways or stairs and making sure the lobby smells beautifully and is shining. Love it love it love it. It’s definitely a refreshing feeling when you walk into the building and inhale the fresh, crisp scent of cleanliness. Thank you guys. But I’m far from done. On top of the cleanliness itself, all the apartments are built incredibly well and sturdy. When I was looking for an apartment and they showcased a few of their apartments, right there and then I knew I would be living here although at the time I had to show my pokerface as though I wasn’t really that impressed and as though I had seen apartments like that before. But the truth is I was floored (pun intended lol). I knew right there and then that this was it. We can’t hear our neighbors next door or upstairs. It’s pretty much sounds proof where we are even though we live near all the subways and restaurants and main roads. You can’t even hear the cars passing by unless you crack a window open a little. The management team has been heaven for us. And I’m not just saying that. If I say something, I can back it up 100%. IF they were sh*tty I’d say so too. Every single time I had an issue with something, which to be honest wasn’t often, they handled it right away and fixed it to the point where it never happened again.

I have lived here for a little over 4 years now and I have nothing but straight love for the management team, office staff and maintenance workers. Let’s start at the leasing staff. Amazing. They’re the most helpful and proactive individuals on the planet and they look out for what’s best for you as the tenant, on an individual basis, which is the way should be done as we are all different people with different wants and needs. Leasing is a buttery smooth process with them and so was my initial move in. Nothing but props for these people, ya heard? I am writing this review as someone who has lived at Zara Realty Holding Corporation since May of 2009. Yes, Ive been living here almost a full decade now. As such, I kind of feel compelled to write my honest review which I’m telling you right now is gonna be positive to offset the negative ones I’m seeing here because I think it’s unfair. Ive been living here for a decade and my words should have more weight and I definitely have no idea what these negative reviewers are talking about. LEt’s get the first thing out of the way - the building is flawless. Those that don’t see this are the kinds of people that find faults in a sunset. This is NYC and it’s very hard to please anybody. This has got to be one of the best buildings in Queens. There are ZERO flaws. I am the very first tenant to live in the unit that I live in and after all these years, this apartment is still in mint condition. Could it be that the reason other people are complaining is because they don’t take care of their stuff? Could it be that they hold parties all the time and give the place a good trashing? I’m not gonna say more. Take care of your place of abode. It’s not a dorm room. take care of it and it will take care of you. I have yet to see a single crack in any of my walls. I mention this because I’ve seen this happen at other people’s apartments in other buildings. The finishes are pretty neat too. Shiny and polished and everything just looks like a million bucks. Elevator always works. The building staff is beyond terrific, from the front desk to the maintenance folks to the building managers. They're all pretty good at their job and you can tell they love what they do. That kind of gives me confidence that they have my interest at heart. The front desk person is super super friendly, and it's always welcoming when I go in there. I feel as though I'm visiting family. Thank you for that. They have great personalities and they’ve all in all just been fantastic to me. The maintenance staff is very attentive and they know the in and outs of the business. You can tell they have a great deal of experience. I recently had a member of the maintenance crew in to fix some problems I was having in the bathroom, and I gotta tel you, the repair work was really really quick, not a bother or burden to me and was done by a super friendly and jovial guy who could not have been more courteous or more pleasant. The location is excellent and this area is really well known for its variety of food and culture, which i love. And in terms of safety and security, not once have I had a single incident walking to or from any of the nearby subway stations at any hour of the day or night. I’ve never had any problems with any of the neighbors. But others who have been here from the very inception say that the building and the management has a pretty good track record in resolving such issues anyway. Plus even if you have trouble with neighbors, how much can you blame the management for that? I love Zara and I'm very pleased with my decision to live here. Not once have I ever regretted my decision to move in.

I really enjoyed my year at Zara Realty. The only reason I left was due to graduate school in a different state. The building is maintained very well and very beautiful. Noise wise, I never heard anything from the neighbors next door or across the hall (there are quite a few units on each floor). The sound suppression between adjacent apartments seems top notch. I mean, I did hear the folks walking around upstairs regularly but it was not too bad. I used to clock my walk to the subway in about three to four minutes, if not less. You cannot beat that. The area seems to have changed a lot since I moved in in August 2016 with more restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, etc opening. It is super safe and there are more folks moving into this area than ever before because of the cultural diversity that flourishes here. The restaurants around here are cream of the crop and I used to love dining out when I lived here. As the other reviewers have stated, the supers here are amazing. I remember our super very well. He was very welcoming when I first came to live here and we talked a little about life and family and stuff and he seemed pretty bummed when I was leaving. He also gave me a little gift before I left. It was a book - the prophet, by Khalil Gibran - the dude actually remembered that I mentioned this book during our introductory meeting and conversation about life and so on. I was soooo moved by this gesture. What a great guy! I really had no issues with the apartment over the course of the year. Lots of light, nice hardwood floors, and I loved that my unit faced the the back of a building. There were no cars on that side. Was always comfortable with heat and so on. I would definitely recommend this place man. In a heartbeat. My time at Zara was really nice. Take note that some of the most beautiful parks in this area are only about a five minute walk away. Cool spot to stroll through, meet people in your area, play chess outside, etc. Overall, I would stay here again!

I've been living at Zara for about 11 months now and have really enjoyed living here. This is the quietest apartment building I've lived in - I never hear my neighbors when I'm in my apartment, and even with a unit that overlooks Hillside ave. I don't find it gets too noisy to be honest. The view from up her is incredible. Probably one of the tallest apartment buildings in queens. Especially at sunset, it’s just absolutely gorgeous. The management of the building is great - everyone is super friendly and runs the building very efficiently. That, i can never complain about. I like how they do business and my only hope is that they keep running it the way they’ve been running it all along. Haven’t had a single major problem yet. While I’ve never really had a serious problem with anything in my unit, when my shower drain was clogged, they got someone up to fix it promptly. That kind of service I can appreciate. Regarding pests, I've never seen any bugs or mice around, so no complaints there. This is a great location, and even in one of the smaller studio units, I find I have a lot of storage and space. Life is good here! Zara Realty to the world ! haha Good luck in finding your next apartment, but i recommend living here.

I am blessed. I moved into Zara at the end of August last year, after never seeing the apartment or even Queens NYC. I moved from Pennsylvania. I cannot begin to tell you enough how blessed I am to have sort of randomly chosen this place! I am a math major so its easiest for me to give bullet points about my experience - I thought it might be too pricey, but after looking at surrounding apartments, this definitely is the nicest and has the greatest value for your money! The people I meet tell me they pay the same for their small apartment but don't have the space and quality of service that i get - beautiful floors, amazing staff, etc. - The neighborhood is incredibly vibrant. I was more than nervous, petrified really, about moving to Queens alone - I worry a lot about stupid things and i was obsessing over security but after seeing how brightly lit this place is and hearing all the positive reviews. It means a lot to know that I have never, ever, felt uncomfortable inside the building or in the surrounding neighborhood. - The location is really good. Far enough to be quiet and pretty and charming, close enough to walk easily to al the good restaurants. I walk to the subway everyday to get to work. Nice grocery stores close by and several to choose from and the people in the neighborhood and in the building are really friendly people. When I was checking reviews online I was very skeptical of the good ones because I always felt they were posted by leasing agents or something! But I can safely say that this place is good and I have little to no complaints. Please do your own research if you have questions about the building, staff, area, etc. (I remember how scary it was deciding on an apartment). It is a big decision so don’t take it lightly. Sadly I am leaving Zara after being there just over a year but boy I am so impressed that i have to leave a review. This past year has been nothing short of fantastic. I can't hear my neighbors, the apartments are nice and bug/rodent free, the people are all professionals. I mean the people who live here. Yes the management are all professional you’d expect that but the people who live here are quality really top notch friendly people. So there is never any unruly drunks right out of college, you know what I mean? Go somewhere else if that’s what you’re looking for. The apartments themselves are built sturdy and really pretty too. The appliances are brand new and shiny stainless steel and work really well. The floors are all polished and look amazing. The building is beautiful with the hallways and lobby and the outside of the building well taken care of daily. The neighborhood is AMAZING, as others have noted. You are really right by everything. I moved here without researching the neighborhood too much (which is something you should always do guys. Always research the neighborhood! It’s not just the building you live in. IT’s also the neighborhood!) and so because i didn’t research the neighborhood too much, was kind of nervous about that. However, after just one week I realized how much I had lucked out. This is truly the best area in town. Best restaurants I have ever eaten at just 3 blocks away. Library, parks, gyms, grocery stores, hardware stores, 99 cent stores - everything is within walking distance. Plus the subway and buses are right there. The staff is also very helpful and I will miss them dearly. Thank you guys for all that you did for me. Highly recommend to everyone!

Zara is the pinnacle of living in Queens. It's clean, the services are best in class, and the location is superb. You're nestled between all the great restaurants and all the great supermarkets. Plus there’s the subway and buses right outside the buildings. I love it. When I reflect on my time living at Zara, I can't help to think back at the amazingness that I experienced. Zara has been a huge part of my life. Huge shout out to the staff. Over the years, some of them have become my closest friends. In fact, some of them will be at my wedding when I get married. This was a great building to live in. I enjoyed my three years here. I just moved out and miss it already. The porters/supers are super helpful and fix whatever issue is going on immediately, which is not the case in most buildings in NYC. The facilities are clean and the front desk staff is nothing short of amazing. I loved the kitchen and the hardwood floors most of all. I will definitely miss the price of rent, very affordable but I had to move for other, personal reasons. I also love that the place stayed bug free even in the summer. The bathroom was beautiful and overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend the building. It’s definitely a good place to live in Queens.

I have lived at Zara for a little over a month now and have very much enjoyed the apartment community. Zara was one of those buildings that you really have to tour in-person to get a complete feel for it. My wife and I checked-out a number of buildings in the Jamaica area, but after touring Zara it was the clear choice for us! In the past, we have lived in a couple of full-service buildings in NYC, but never one quite like this. This place stand out because of the vibrant Jamaica community. Love it. Love all the restaurants and grocery stores. I particularly enjoy seeing all the different shades of people from every ethnicity and religion blend into one and live happily together in this community. Zara building is a microcosm of this phenomenon if you ask me. If you're apartment hunting, I definitely recommend Zara.

This right here is a special shout out to the maintenance staff at Zara. This group of men go out of their way to make sure everything stays up to date and anything you need they are there for you. I absolutely love these guys. We have made a couple service requests recently and they will bend over backwards to work with your schedule and make sure things are finished as soon as possible. They have even seen me struggling with large packages and have gone out of their way to help me with the elevator. They really make living here a beautiful thing. Well done guys! Hi guys- After four years of living at Zara, I feel compelled to write a review of this fantastic building. I moved to Queens four years ago, and this being my first experience living in an apartment in the city, I can't say that I've ever had a better experience anywhere. And that’s me being real. Before I go on, let me make this clear: THIS IS NOT A PAID REVIEW AND I HAVE IN NO WAY BEEN COMPENSATED TO WRITE THIS!!! First off, the building is GORGEOUS. The interiors are modern, beautifully designed, and always kept impeccable (and it smells great - I want to know who provides the scents used in the lobby. I’ve been asking for years but the super always jokingly says, the “99 cents next door”). Repairs/requests have ALWAYS been addressed promptly. I’ve never experienced that level of quality service, anywhere. Period! I've seen some reviews here used as personal vendettas against the staff. Don't believe them. The staff is stellar. My building representatives are standouts, especially you know who! If you’re reading this, you know who you are!! I'll miss you most of all! You always greet me by name with a big smile, and can always recommend a great restaurant or night spot in the neighborhood to try out. Thank you so much for all your kindness over the years! As for the neighborhood. Well, it is beautiful. Jamaica is a cultural hub and I love it here, no matter what the critics say. I walk to my gym and other places without problem during the day. Everything is close by. Plus with all the buses and trains nearby, you can get anywhere in the area quickly. And finally, the rent. Yes, Zara is more expensive than the studio that you shared with your roommate in college. What did you expect? It's a LUXURY building, with LUXURY features. But with that in mind, the prices are affordable. In my case, very affordable. I'll miss you, Zara. Thanks for an incredible four years! Highly recommend.

Having a beautiful, spacious, affordable apartment to retire to at the end of a long day is tremendously comforting and I look forward to coming home from work (I’m a nurse) every single day. The apartments are beautiful, clean, and stylish with nice fixtures and good-quality appliances. I live in a "studio" but it’s really huge and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Trust me - if you saw it you agree with me. It has more than enough space for me and all my belongings. Even the closet space is hugeee. I have a hugeee amount of clothes to accommodate and the closet holds everything comfortably with space left over. Highly recommend.

I choose to apply to them because their properties are near to my workplace, so it's very convenient. The cost has got to be half than the other apartments I've rented before. Absolutely it's more space, very well kept, all excellent management. I would say to someone who wants to apply with them, absolutely go and apply, because you'll never find a supportive group in some ways it feels you really have that they are there for you. It’s very simple. Anyone who is looking for a place to live in Queens and wants that luxury feel, this is definitely the place for you. I will tell you this: be aware of other places that claim to be "luxury" buildings in the area. Don’t fall for it. My girlfriend lives in one of those so called “luxury” buildings and let’s just say she is not happy. haha..She’ll be moving here with me pretty soon though. In fact, she only realized her building wasn’t truly luxurious once she saw my apartment. …lol…ignorance is bliss i guess. Anyway my apartment is everything I could ever ask for. When I first moved to Queens, I was looking everywhere for apartments, spending about a complete week touring all the apartment buildings I can find. I had almost given up hope when I found this place on google. It was exactly what I was looking for. The prices are really affordable in my view. Especially for the peace of mind and the space that you get. I love that the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and that everyone minds their own business, unless you reach out to people to try to be friends, then they’ll mind your business. Otherwise, they’ll keep to themselves. That’s a good thing in my eyes. I love that the building and apartments look beautiful and new and smell as clean and fresh as they do. Lots of space and lots of windows which I like. I love that the place is very brightly lit and never have I felt unsafe or anything like that. Plus people look out for each other here, even if you don’t live here. That’s pretty cool to me. I love that the staff is as friendly and as helpful as they are. They have learned the residents by their name and they always greet me when they see me. They really and truly make me feel at home and the maintenance staff too. Those guys are especially polite. I love the proximity to everything. The restaurants are close. The grocery stores are close. The bus stop is right outside the building. The subway is a block away. Can’t ask for better than that. If you’re looking for an apartment in this area, you should definitely at least give it a shot.

It’s easy to bash your landlords. Anyone can do that. But everything has two stories and everything has to be view through the proper perspective. I have been a resident at Zara for about 6 months now and I have nothing short of a great customer experience so far. The guys there are amazing, even the guys who take care of the day to day running of the place - the maintenance guys. Everything is perfect and is run buttery smooth. Every need is taken care of. The send emails and listen to complaints and give ample notice when anything needs to get done. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

I’ve been living at New Haven Apartments for almost 4 years now. As a matter of fact, I just renewed my lease for another 2 years. I feel at peace living here. No matter what time I come home in the evenings, I do not have to look behind me. As a single person, security was one of my main concerns. This place is soooo secured with cameras all over. The office staff is very friendly and don’t talk about the maintenance crew. Every time I have a problem in the apartment and make a request, they are always on time to fix the problem.
